Vacuum?

Ive only bagged a few jobs with storage bags and a shop vac. I need better quality. This method has tons of leaks and low pull.

There are several options available....
Small pro grade pump $400, low cfm and relatively high cost.
Vacuum generator $120, great cost, loads my one pro grade piece of equipment and is noisy.
Cheap harbor freight vacuum, $100, says 75 micros pull seams pointless.
Ac compressor conversion, not sure i need another project.

Seems the vacuum generator would be best for me. Not sure the cfm of my compressor. Its a relatively small tank but a badass motor. I could probably use the standard model but high efficiency may be a better choice. There are also kits, but cost twice what i may need. Do i really need $100+ water seperators right now for hobby jobs.

Right now im doing small 2 sq ft jobs, working towards hoods, eventually hulls. Ill spend the money if i need to, id rather get what i need to do to do a good job the first time, but i dont want to over purchase and miss out on the many other items i want. I realize the vacuum to do a hull will be different than a hood most likely. Ill cross that bridge when i get there.
