I havent had a problem untill the past two weeks I buy a intake grate on ebay and it ships next day I buy a steering cable from same seller it ships I recieve the cable but not the intake grate it left salt lake city and went to denver now it shipped out but hasnt updated for week and half fast foward to last week I buy fuel line from a guy I always buy fuel line from it shipped same day and left WI went to a sort facility and nothing since I was suppse to get it on thursday havent seen it yet no update or anything WTF

I've had some crazy things happen with USPS before where packages being delayed by a week or two, or even in one case over a month. But... They've always shown up at one point of time.

USPS is the most economical option for me to ship. Though I don't think they are the greatest, they are the ones I use most frequently.

Ive shipped hundreds of things usps, and never had something lost, and only ever had something unreasonably late once.

You hear of WAY more horror stories from UPS and FedEx

What a coincidence, I just bought an SXR worx intake grate and the seller shipped it USPS and it said delivered yesterday but I don't have it. Mail came again today and nothing. Called them and they gave me a case number but said I'm probably s o l. Called credit card company and explained everything, they refunded me the 130 bux.

Who knows where that grate is now...

Fed -ex is also using USPS as part of their new service, the service is called Smartpost, the items are shipped to one of several hubs and USPS make the final delivery, just a heads up.

My grate magically appeared on my doorstep today. Time to call the credit card company and reverse the disputed charge. What a hassle...Oh well, at least in the end I got what I wanted, a new worx 222 for $130 shipped.

I believe they say to wait 2 weeks. If it doesnt make it in the 2 weeks, Im pretty sure they refund shipping. Never had it take more than 2 weeks though. Shipping stuff across the country does take time, esp with the holidays coming up.

Much much faster and cheaper than driving it there yourself

The only USPS service that is guaranteed is "Express Mail" which is there Overnight or expedited service. Even getting the refund when it doesn't show up on time is a pain in the ass. First you have to call and complain, then they send you a bunch of paperwork to fill out and you need to mail in your receipt and payment information.

It was a nightmare, I never ended up getting the refund either. It wasn't worth my time anymore. But hey... I still ship everything USPS.

So lost, late, stolen, damaged mail is not covered unless you purchase insurance. That covers everything except for late with exception to Express Mail once again.

Its simple if its something you can't afford to replace, insure it its cheap and it has saved my ass a few times.
