Other Used trailer price? I don't know anything.

I'm in the middle of trying to find a trailer for my Superjet build and found a trailer next to Corpus Christi, but I believe he wants way too much for it. He says it's nearly new, but I will still have to get it registered, new rims, and re light it with LED's since I'm in the salt.

He's asking $400 for it which I think is too high. I can MAYBE see $300 registered, rewired with LED's, and new tires on galvanized rimes, but I don't know what used trailers really go for.

It's a jon boat trailer, which is what I want since it has a really long tongue and wont have to dip my wrangler in the salt to launch the ski.
What do you all think?

"registered" doesn't matter as you'll have to take it to the county and have the registration transferred to your name.

I sold a trailer very similar to that for $200 earlier this year.

If you're willing to drive to Houston, I'll keep an eye out up here for one.

I paid $250 for a jonboat trailer a few weeks ago. It had just been re-galvanized. It had a winch and came with brand new lights. (the cheap lights, lol).

It came with a spare tire, but it was dry rotted.
