use a rudder

I have been reading the verious threads and I am wondering does anyone use a rudder on the jet nozzel to give them more directional athority when wave jumping or freestyling . (I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THOSE COBRAJET RUDDER DEALS EITHER )?????

I don't know about on a ski, but on a jet boat you can't tell the difference.

would haveing the steering nozzel set back have more of an effect then

it would ruin slashes, you have to be able to slide up the lip.....so for surf, it would suck asss

They used to make them,I have one on my jetboat for off powered steering,they don't make them anymore,there is probably a reason for that.

the only thing I have running right now is my dads old 91 seadoo sp NOT EXACTLY WAVE JUMPING MATERIAL!

jazz or rend i think used to sell them for the 440/550 way back when.never saw one in action,only on the shelf but could probably tear the nozzle right off during a wrong maneuver.

good point the x-2 nozzle is plastic
