How do you tell which coupler goes to which side? Whats the difference between the two?

the crank side has a larger thread diameter, it is hard to tell unless you havea crank to thread it on or a shortsshaft to thread it on. or you canjust measure the hole opening
Do you know what size either hole opening is?

its about a thirty second shy of 1 inch. i measured the shaft itselfs diameter, not including the threads

i think its a 20mm size thread from memory
I measured it with a set of calipers, and it measured exactly 7/8inch, which is 22.225 mm.
