650/X-2 UMI Bottom stop question

Hey guys
Hope your all doing great,
So for my X2 I have a bottom stop umi setup but it looks like the steering rood itself is slightly bent, i was wondering if anyone can tell me where i can buy a new shaft as i cannot seem to find one anywhere.
Many thanks guys.

I think you're talking about the actual steering shaft/column. I know UMI made at least 3 versions, so I suspect maybe the early versions were not up to the task?

If you've been able to extract it out of the upper and lower housings I would take it to an engineering firm and see if they can press it back to being straight. As far as I know, UMI only sell a bearing kit as a spare part - everything else you need to repair or replace as a unit.

Spoke to a dealer hes gonna see if he can get the part and speaking to local machine shops about fixing it.
