My X2 is a 90 and its not any of the stock components its would be the peice that slides through the umi component and the umi bars holder bolts too.What year is tour X2? What part are you referring to?

I found a umi supplier he is checking into it for me, many thanksIf it’s a component of the UMI system I would call or email UMI directly. If they don’t have a replacement part you might have to buy a new system.
Spoke to a dealer hes gonna see if he can get the part and speaking to local machine shops about fixing it.I think you're talking about the actual steering shaft/column. I know UMI made at least 3 versions, so I suspect maybe the early versions were not up to the task?
If you've been able to extract it out of the upper and lower housings I would take it to an engineering firm and see if they can press it back to being straight. As far as I know, UMI only sell a bearing kit as a spare part - everything else you need to repair or replace as a unit.
