I moved the cable to the furthest out mounting point and aligned the steering back to straight (steering was WAY out of line) and took it out for a test ride. In the process, I turned the steering stop 90 degrees to keep from having the steering cable bind. On the test ride, turning seemed a lot worse than it was, like I wasn't even getting the same amount of throw with the turn nozzle. Is this because I turned the stop? Can I run the steering stop in the original position and not have to worry about the cable binding? I'll put it back the way it was originally if there might be a reliability issue.
If needed, I can post a couple of pictures when I get home for clarification.
Thanks.
