Anyone running a Triton girdled head? I just picked up 3 of them and was wondering if anyone has had success with them. I was told they're not the greatest for water flow. Was told to run the cooling line backwards so it went through the head first but I am concerned with possibly cold seizures. Not too sure if I should be?

Cooling

Did you have to run the water in through the head or did you run the conventional cooling arrangement?

Vomitspot runs Triton Engineering heads on all his skis I believe. He also runs dual cooling too... but with the standard arrangement...

Running it through the head first is not good. You want to run it from the mani first (bottom outlet) so you ensure that entire cavity is being filled with water, running it from the top may not fill the system completely. Same reason why you run the headpipe water into the bottom outlet and out the top.

Like everybody else said... conventional cooling. In the mani, out the head.

Go ahead and run it it's a sweet piece of billet!
