Super Jet trim tube

Finally finished drilling the hole. What a pain in the f$#cking @$$!

Anyways how much tube needs to stick out in he pump area? Does it even matter?

I think it depends on when or where it interfers with your pump. Mine is super short (3/8") because it hits the pump mounting feet.

So I have the tube in and slopped some 5200 around it and bolted the pump in. Can anyone tell me what this black piece is for and where it goes.

That looks like a trim cable retaining bracket.... Should Go between the pump and the oem pump bolt to retain the trim cable.....

This is the one for my X Metal setup( red bracket), looks somewhat similar.

I found a picture and got everything hooked up but I have a cable end similar to what hooks on to your trim ring but I have no idea what its for. Heres the pic I found.

The threaded male portion of the cable end should fit right into that mount and bolt it on either side to lock it down. Just unscrew the end fitting you have from the cable itself... If i'm understanding you right.......?

Here is the piece I have left over. It kind of looks like an end to go onto the end of the steering for the turn nozzle but I already have one on my steering cable. I'm just wondering what it is for or if I even need it. Could it be to convert the trim to a straight pull setup??
