just got myself a trampoline offa the craiglist and im gonna use it to learn backflips. i will translate what i learn on the tramp into my riding.
will let you know if it works out, i think it will.

That's a good way to get the feeling of being inverted. I used to use qa tramp when I was learning rolls on the wakeboard. I even had a skateboard deck with some straps screwed in to practice grabs and such. I can't imagine putting your SJ on there though. Good cardio workout also.

We're getting one for our kids in a week or so, I expect to be on it quite a bit this year.

man those things are too fun. I did however hurt myself on one. I did a frontflip and opened up way too early, hurt my back pretty good but it was worth it laying on the trampoline, watching the kids laugh at me lol.

Not to be a buzz kill, but I watched a freaking trampline litterally ruin someones life...
Do not let anyone else use the trampoline! My old neighbor got sued REAL REAL bad when someone elses kid injured himself on it. Check your homeowners insurance, most state that you are NOT allowed to have a trampoline on your property in the fine print, and they wont cover trampoline related lawsuits!! It sounds crazy, but you have to be careful!

i used to be the trampoline master..we would wet it down and get two kids to double bounce me and i could look down at the second story of the house while i was flipping..i went on one a few months ago and almost killed myself

I was one of the few girls to be able to do a back flip on the trampoline, back in the day when they were actually allowed in schools. I'm quite sure I would die if I tried that today.

How come you didn't go pro?
Decided to be a general waterman instead?

correct!! :drillsergeant:

'most' is not correct, 'some' either require a rider or specific safety precautions (net or fence) or a few don't allow it.

my niece's have one with the net around it. the youngest loves to do cartwheels and try all the gymnist stuff. she was amazed that i could jump and do backflip after backflip without stopping. was jumping on it another time and actually hit the ground with my right foot and it screwed up my lower back and hips for about three months.

:laugh2:

guess youd be happier if i could barley swim like you kooks..smoking a pack of camel lights before i hit the "inlet" in my hiking boots and farmer john wetsuit..

plus i just decided to focus on jetskiing, its way easier..:loser:

plus if i stuck to trampolines id have to do flips....

Doctors and chiropractors love trampolines. They keep the waiting rooms full of kids that smacked into each other, fell to the ground or got whiplash. Smaller kids, especially, are very susceptable to neck related strains and other injuries on those things.

I would never have one on my property. Ever.
