trailor pictures?

im rebuilding a trailor i got. its like brand new but it has a wheel system and i want wood bunks. i need pictures of how your bunks are mounted to the trailor? i assume its right angle metal, but doe sit go the full width of the bunks or just the cross beams? thanks

A Pic of your trailer would help.

If your crossmembers are horozontal you can just put a single bolt up into A 2x4 and that will work for your bunk.

I am glad you chose to use the politically correct version "island-rig". I would hate to have to smack you.

The mod is simple. The metal aint cheap though.

get a u-bolt (marine store) and a fairly thick peice of metal (1/4 inch or so I used some steel beam looked like this long ways [) then drilled 2 holes in it for the u-bolts and one up top for a small peice of angle iron its about 2x2. then a hole in each edge of that and a 3rd in the main bracket. do 4 and then just bolt the 2x4 bunks to the angle iron and you have some fully adjustable bunks. I am out of commision if I wasnt I would just take some pics.
