Doing a 144 pump conversion, tubbies, footholds and rideplate so thought I would take a few shots of the process since I never do and finally show instead of tell how I do it.
here is the hull, fumed silica, tape the hull if you dont plan on painting to keep the mess to a minimum, epoxy resin 3:1, mixing in spray can cap full at a time, if it drips off the stick its too wet, when it stays on the stick its good, line up the tubbie, drill- countersink, install all screws, remove screws, butter back of tubbie with epoxy mixture and reinstall, I like to start in the center and work equally out to both sides at the same time, just start em, then once they are all in finish em, resin should squeeze out, finger swipe like caulk.
^^^ run on sentence.:ugh2:
