Titling aftermarket hulls

anyone ever apply for a HIN to then get a title for an aftermarket hull? I just bought a bob hull and they don't have HINs. I just need something for insurance purposes and for a bill of sale for the lake I live on. Or if I can get insured without one that would be fine too. I just am clueless as to what I need to do. Thanks

As for insurance I think wake zone is your only option for coverage, but I could be wrong, discussed here

Google search the forums works well.

As you see in that forum /\ I just tagged my FR. Not a huge deal, glad I did it right vs the illegal alternative.

I know u can apply for one in ks they come out inspect the ski and ur finished they hand u your hin and u are finished. good to go from there
