timing curves for freeride.

What kinda max timing are most advent and TL users running for freeride.I see some of the fitzgerald designed curves are as high as 36 deg through 5000 rpm on advents.
Looks like most of them end up at the same final timing around 14,but hold some slightly higher #s a little further into the rpms. how much advance are most tl systems running for freeride surf use? how should these curves correlate with transfer and exhaust duration of freestyle and freeride built motors.

I run 30° static timing on my SJ and then start backing it off at 4500 to 15° at max...can't remember max though. I run roughly the same on my 750 as well.

I have seen some at 30,32,36 max. its odd though how much some of them back of soon at the 5000 mark but still end up at the same 14 max. In a ski thats used for surf or occasional all out runs going mostly straight,id think they wouldnt be making that much heat, because the motor gets to max rpm so quickly and stays there, then in surf is really never beat on that hard to make alot of heat either

I don't know about everyone else but I doubt I'd really feel a difference in 5° at 6000rpms but I can GUARANTEE I'd feel the difference between a normal motor and one sitting the middle of the water that's been destroyed from detonation.

deff dont wana blow it up with advance,Im looking at most these high advance #s before 5000 rpm on most of the printed curves that are out there to see

There is actually a fairly in depth thread on here about total loss timing curves. Shouldn't be too hard to find if you want to read up on it. It was one of the biggest deciding factors for why I chose the curve I have now.
