Dear PWC Enthusiast,

Please come join us this Thursday, February 16th at the Miami International Boat Show for a press conference about bringing personal watercraft back to Biscayne National Park. We are holding this press conference to announce new action we’re taking to end the unfair ban. We need your support.

The first 25 PWC enthusiasts through the door will receive a FREE ticket to the Miami International Boat Show good for admission any day Thursday through Monday!

Thanks to you, 2006 support for the BOAT Biscayne Campaign has exploded. We have racked up nearly 1,000 signatures in the last month on our new online petition demanding that PWC be allowed back into Biscayne. At the February 16th press conference we will announce several key initiatives that are critical to our campaign:

The press conference will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Room A201 –

1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach, 33139 (East of Meridian Avenue at 17th Street). This is on the second floor and you will NOT need a ticket to the show to access this room.

·DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH: I-95 Northbound, Exit 395 East (MacArthur Causeway) to Alton Road North, Right on 17th Street, Left on Convention Center Drive.

·DIRECTIONS FROM NORTH: I-95 Southbound, Exit 195 East (Julia Tuttle Causeway) to Alton Road South, Left on 17th Street, Left on Convention Center Drive.

As you are aware, despite remarkable technological advancements in the past eight years that have resulted in making personal watercraft one of the most environmentally-friendly motorized vessels on the water, PWC and the families who enjoy them have been banned from the waters of Biscayne National Park since 2000. Moreover, these bans have caused irreparable economic damage to the U.S. economy and the small businesses that depend on tourism. To learn more, visit www.boatbiscayne.com.

We look forward to seeing on February 16 at 10:00 AM! If you have any questions, let us know by emailing bberry@clsdc.com or kalderson@clsdc.com.

Sincerely,

The BOAT Biscayne Coalition
