throttle cable

are square and round nose throttle cables the same?
the part number is not the same from yamaha but on the parker yamaha site they come up the same number from them????

I had seen a company selling just the wire rope portion of the cable. It must have had a replaceable barrel on one end. Terry cable would be able to make one for a few bucks, much cheaper than the entire cable.

you can get a kawi cable from a 750sx (93) and it will work just fine. Its much cheaper too. Secret i learned from one of the guys here.
