The SN cable is longer actually. Search for a thread on swapping to a kawi cable. They are longer, stronger and way cheaper. I bought 2 of them for $29 each where the stock RN cable is as much as $130.

The 1993 kawi 750sx cable is the one you want, make the switch it's a win, win, win upgrade.

The Kawi cable is slightly longer and has beefier fittings so you will have to remove your manifold mount and enlarge the hole to take the new fitting, then when you go to bolt it back on, bolt it to the bottom not the top of the manifold and that takes care of most of the extra length, leaving some slight adjustment at the throttle itself. Hopefully you have an aftermarket throttle with am adapter, you should be able to remove the adapter and thread it right into the throttle.

The cable on the left is a stock rn cable. The middle shows a Kaw . The right one is a sq nose. The kawi is 8" longer than the rn, the sq is 13" longer than the rn.

Kawi cable DGY.com 25 bucks plus 11 shipping 36 total (more to Canada)....it has a 1 &1/2" longer throw so u must mount it under the stock manifold like stated above or make a bracket...working good on my RN...
