Other Threadlocker?

Just curious what others are using? I've been using permatex blue and red gel sticks. I like those pretty good, but the bottles seem like a ripoff sometimes. Mostly air and a lot of the time if the bottle is pressurized (temp changes etc) when you take the cap off, is squirts out and is basically wasted.

Any other products you guys like to use? If we could get js/SJ in a tube, that would be awesome.

All kidding aside, what thread locker do you guys prefer?

I buy the glue sticks of red and blue. Those don't dry up or drip like the liquid does. I've had pretty good luck with the gel sticks too, but I prefer the glue sticks as they're also easier to apply.

The new 243 and 263 primerless loctite seems to work better on stainless and oily fasteners. It doesn't come in the glue sticks though.

I find I use thread sealant 572/592 more often than thread lock now.
