I got this used. Was told there was some pitting in one dome, the other is fine. Think it is still ok to run this as it is? Or will these pitting marks cause and potential issues in the future?

Pitting in the dome can cause detonation from tiny hot spots on the lil uneven chunks of alum in the dome.
If its not too bad u can minimize it by sanding polishing it as long as you don't have to remove so material that u affect the cc/size of the dome..
If it is a relatively stock motor I would clean it up a bit and run it, I don't think it will give you trouble. But high compression will not like those pits.
