I thought I would wait a couple of weeks to post this thread up about Thrust Innovations Air Box Adapters and Wamiltons Carbon Air Box. After some time testing here's my conclusion.
First off I have Riva power bomb carburetors. They come from the factory with a horn bells pressed on to accept K&N style filters. After the last year of getting water ingestion I decided it was time to make moves. Thrust Innovations manufactures air box adapters for these style carbs to accept OEM style single air box covers. I believe they are the only company on the market that does so. There impressive design allows for bullet proof reliability, just make sure you assemble everything with red Loctite. Wamiltons kept it classy and custom with a set of carbon fiber air boxes, they required some cutting to clear my water fittings but worked and looked great once installed.
If you're going to invest in novi or full spec carbs that come with adapters pressed on chances are you have some big cc's under them. Don't risk ruining your motor because of water ingestion. Thanks Thrust and Wamiltons for keeping things dry and classy.
