I'm going to have to pull outta this one.

Ski broke..... Needs a pump rebuild......

No point in driving all that way if I can't take my ski.

Hmm I may have a old pump I pulled out of a ski I replaced for my realtor. It is still good it just has a chip out of a vein. I will see if I can find it, get a pic and let you see it. It is for a sp.
Then again this give you a reason to buy a yamaha.

Thanx, guys! It's the 1992 XP pump.
Skinnyman, thanx for the offer!

I took the pump into Art at Critt's. They're good mechanics with umpteen years working on all sorts of watercarft.

He said it's a fairly common thing that happens. He pulled the blades off while I was there, put all the parts in a bucket and said Critt, himself, was going to work on it. I asked how long it'd take, guessing 2 weeks, and he said it shouldn't take that long.

We'll see if it breaks the bank.:fingersx:

WTF???? never mind. :dunno:

Just a couple of months ago an entire pump for a 98 GSXL was $465, that included parts being shipped around. Oh, and from the time I noticed to the time it was back on the ski was less than a week. Pump rebuilds are not that hard, or intensive........

Anyway, back to the Roll Call......I gotta see if Mrs. ASS JOEL will let me outside to play.
