testing flow control valve popoff

stupid question. should the jetworks fcv popoff suddenly, like when you test a carb popoff?

NO, It just stops pumping up at where the pop off is.

It will open gradually, flowing more water as RPM's increase. I run mine so it begins to leak once the engine is above idle.
