This is a survey to let me know what our members prefer so I may make additions to the FAQ that can better serve our community.

In the FAQ, I have grouped like items together and I am wondering:
  1. Who finds it helpful all relevant information is grouped together (fewer topics to sort through in the Tech FAQ forum and more posts).
  2. Who finds it more helpful when each item has its own topic (more topics less posts to sort through).
  3. Who spends too much time on the forums and knows where everything is. ( I did not add this b/c the first two are where I want my votes, but feel free to comment on this if you do).

Example:
I have a thread titled Powerplant: Tuning, Exhaust, engine setups, etc. for all things related to the engine, carbs, and exhaust. So, instead of having more threads to sort through you go to that one and search for the post with the info you need.

Or do you find it easier to sort through more topics in the Tech FAQ and find the one post you are looking for?
One for Carbs, one for engine, one for exhaust, etc.

i'd seperate it into

carbs/engine/exhaust
electronics
hull
pump/props
various

or something like that, and then break it down further in individual posts, like the below with engine being a post with a bunch of links in it, carbs being a post, exhaust being a post. so its like a tree.

carb/engine/exhaust (thread)

engine (post)
-compression (links inside post)
-squish (links inside post)
-timing (links inside post)

carbs
-tuning
-what size for what motor
-rejetting/rebuilding

exhaust
-which pipes for what
-tuning
-modifying

i would think that would be a good way to organize but your creating more work for yourself initially, should be the same once the existing stuff is arranged.

You're doing a good job. Combine similar topics, like you did with footstraps, but include all revelant subjects, like SJ or B1, install, usage, recommendations, etc.
