1st- Ive added dual 44's and they each have there own "pump" so im guessing i need to tap a 2nd vac. line in to the crank. True/False? also what size of fitting do i use, its a 1/4 line if im not mistaken

2nd- What size fitting do i use for the dual cooling when i tap the pump?

3rd- This blocking the crossover with epoxe, I know what the crossover is but what are the advantaged/disadvantages, and why is it there? is it just for smoother idle? Im a little confused with this subject:thinking:

One month left then riding season starts, I sure hope i can get it all done !

1. - i think its a 1/8 npt if u go threaded
2. i think its a 1/4 npt elbow - to 3/8s barb ?
both should be a pain in the ass to find at ur local store ace seems to be the best
3. blocking it has been recommended to me by 2 engine builders - jetworks and lpw

1/8 NPT threads for both. Lots of hardware stores and Home Depot carry fittings in the plumbing section. My local ACE had the tap in stock.

Filling the crossover makes tuning a little easier, too. Something to do with better vacuum signal.

Ok, Thanks I picked them up this morning, putting them in tonight, since they are a little bigger then the sock, im going to drill out the stock so they are the same on both sides

Crossover passage is for smoother idle and power transition
You will need to reduce the size of the pilot jets
So I understand this part but i dont give a crap about the idle, does it help with freestyle or racing preformance...ive yet to meet somebody who can ride at idle:shrug:

thanks for the help so far

1/8 looks like it will be too big, if i tap it that big there will be nothing left to hold it in unless im missing something???

Use the oem nipple part number 62T-14251-10-00 for $1.80 and you won't have to tap it.

I never even thought of that :chairshot: so when drilling the 2nd hole it will be a 1/4 hole? (just want to make sure i dont fark up)
