SXR sxr 800 help

Hey guys, recently done a full engine rebuild on my sxr, put the engine back in and it didnt start found a point on the cdi was corrided and not there, replaced that and it runs at idle as soon as I give it more than half revs it coughs and backfires and runs heaps of gas out the exhaust, got carbs checked and they were fine, any help or ideas would be great cheers

pull your carbs off and check your reeds.

You will need to give a lot more information to get good feedback. What did you change, why the rebuild, is the key way in correctly?, new flywheel? did you torque flywheel bolt correctly? etc, etc

ok, I rebuild as it was siezed when I bought it, never new there was a torqur setting for the flywheel, Im sure the reeds are fine as they were when I done the rebuild and it is got good pulse and pouring a good amount of gas out the exhaust

Check flywheel 1st, the keys shear easily if not torqued correctly
