Sxi mini fuel tank?

Anyone ever insatll a "mini" fuel tank in a Sxi Pro? Who's was it and how well did it fit?

i have a tank from a 550 it doesnt make a huge difference but its a bit lighter in the front it fits good ill take pictures if you want

why dont you just not run a full tank of gas if your purpose is to save weight.

My old tank and foam look like ASS! I wanted to get a new fuel tank but its BIG $$$ thought why not look at a aftermarket mini tank? I know XFT makes one... I saw another one on this site, but now that I'm looking for it I can't find it? I also wanted to find out how well it would fit in a SXI....

I use a TSracing.com 8.5L Euro tank..... its a little over 2gallons I believe..... it was $33 I think..... comes with gas cap, and single pickup.... I put a T fitting to split into two lines on my boat.... plug in your return, and vent.... then figure out how to strap it in and your good to go!... my tank dry vs the sotck SJ tank was about 4lbs lighter :woot:

The tank works about perfect in my SJ.... I love it untill the surf is good, and I dont feel like going in to fuel up :banghead:

They sell this drug Lipozene on TV, I think it averages 4lbs weight lost. :biggthumpup:
