sxi impellar

does anyone run a 8/16 on an sxi with a limited pipe? Im lookin for low end,
i know i should get a 9/17 but for now im stuck with 8/16. Also could there be bad results from that low of a prop, a 80mm nozzle, a freestyle cone, and a pipe?

Yes,

put the impeller of 1st. (and maybe the pump shoe) and thats it, try it
Leave the rest stock for now. the other stuff can be changed after Every ski reacts differently. Trial and error dude.

I like to Do/Fix/upgrade/break one thing at a time
So many people have lead my the wrong direction with these skis

Ive been fighting 750 impellers and pumps problems and performance problems for 2 years now. I just now figured out the right combo
(THANKS RMBC...your the man) at least for my elevation. i ride around 4000 ft to 6000 ft. whats you elevation and body size. that makes a difference.

Yea thats what i planned on doing, trial and error. But the skis has sum performance problems rite now, we gotta wait til the spring to get it into the shop...As far as elevation, were at about 500 ft. Ill be 16 in april, and i weight 120 and am currently benching 155. Im about 5'6 ish. so we'll prolly stick with the prop and cone. and try to tune the pipe/carbs

you might be changing impeller, well see tho. im a bit heavier than you.
the 8/16 works good for fat guys like me

long wait till the warm weather for me too.

i might be interested in your impelled if it doesnt work for you. ill wait till you try it 1st

did you get a tool for the impeller yet?
you need it its only $10

ok ill make sure to ask u first b4 selling it.

yea i ordered the tool yesterday

what could happen with the prop since im so light? I remeber u said its like the small tires on the car. same kinda thing? theres a 9/17 on ebay off an sxr, should i order that? or wait till spring n then worry about a new impellar...
