Surf Hood

Hey all,

I'm building a blaster for the surf and my hood is cracked badly, in multiple places, on both the upper cover and bottom hood. I am thinking about the wamiltons hood. Does anyone have experience with this in the surf? Any input at all would be appreciated.

There are some posts on here about it somewhere. But I remember reading it was more for racing then freeride.

Yea I found a thread but no real reports on durability available. Anyone else know of someone that makes hoods?

Raddudes made them in fiberglass and carbon. Maybe they still have some?

Emailed them. They discontinued the hoods.

Unless you're determined to find an aftermarket hood I would just repair and reenforce what you have. Then get some hood pins to help keep it in place.
