superjet pistons-whats best

im putting new pistons and rings in my 96 superjet , its bored 1 over, some people tell me wiseco sucks ,any comments whatr the best piston and rings, i just pulled out wisecos that have lasted for yrs, ive heard yamaha and art is the way to go

In fact like last week there was a big thread about pistons.

I prefer Wiseco's, but for cast I prefer VerteX and Pro-X pistons.

I have probably only rebuilt about half a dozen superjet motors, but I've had good luck with Wiseco, pro X and OEM. Never had a failure from any of them. I would probably go Pro X on my next time around.
Actually......I would call Chuck at Team Scream and do whatever Chuck tells me to do!

Look at the tool bar at the top of your page,click on search,a box will open up type in what you want to search for .That will search all open forums,it will probably return more search results than you want though.You can click on advanced search to narrow your search,that will open up then type in what you are searching for on the left side box,you can type in a specific user in the box on the right if you wish,then you can scroll down and click on a forum you want to search in or click search in all open forums,then you scroll all the way down and click search now.

Wiesco has been around for the test of time. We use their pistons exclusively in our two strokes.
