Super Jet superjet is bogging a lot down low

i have a 2000 SJ and recently when riding at no wake speeds or when slowing down from going a decent speed it bogs out. I have to play with the throttle, tap it lightly to keep it from stalling and then in a matter of 20-30 seconds it will come back alive. I took the plugs out and they are looking oily.
Input?

Inside the carburetors.
Take them off and go through them. Pay close attention to the fuel filters INSIDE the carbs and the condition of the rubber tips of the needles & seats.

Emm.....if you do the work yourself (there's no reason you shouldn't, it's easy), then you might be looking at $40-$60 in parts.

Any place that sells Mikuni SBN carb parts. In your area, there's Thrust Innovations that should have your stuff. Most likely you'll need only new Needle & Seat. Very rarely I run across some filters that are so dirty they have to be replaced. Most of the time they clean up.

Cool thanks. So before I determine that I need that, I should take the carb covers off and inspect the fuel filter (but what exactly am i looking for?) and rubber tips of the needles & seats right

okay so i only had time to take the cover off. i noticed that my choke cable is broken and not connected. Is it normal for the choke valves to stay open like in the pic or should they be closed?

That shouldn't cause your running problems. They are normally open like that. They only close when you pull the choke.

Damn I thought i had it figured it out lol. I changed the plugs and it ran a LITTLE better today, still bogging at low speeds though. I guess the next step is to remove those 3 bolts on each side right

Yes.
Then the throttle cable and choke cable.
Then remove all lines going to the carbs (label them)
Then remove the four nuts at the carb bases.

Yes, it does matter. Don't buy anything that isn't genuine Mikuni.
