superjet hood mod question

is there any way to lighten a 96 superjet hood, can the liner b pulled out?

stock hood has alot of glass, this is where light weight lowered hoods really come in!!!!!!!!!

superjet hood modification

wow coool build on that orange ski, not sure i completly understand your hood mod, first u removed rivets and pulled out the black stock liner, can i just do that and b done? im not a master at glassing yet so i was triing to keep it simple. after seeing yours it does look cool. didnt understand what was lowered and what the tape/cardboard was for,my goal is to really get rid of some weight,got an estimate on what the weight reduction was,
