Superjet 61x Engine Rebuild

hey guys, my skis been having problem after problem lately, water getting into the motor every single time i ride, I've tried just about everything i could think of, and after this weekend it took on a lot more water. so i decided to just tear down the motor completely (expecting to find a crack somewhere causing the water intrusion) so i am planning on ordering a top end kit and all new gaskets. i do not need pistons while i have it out and all apart id rather just do it now than later. split the crank case also because every crank bearing is toast from the water, also the front seal that goes into the flywheel because there was tons of nasty oil in in the flywheel/ magneto. So any advise on what kind of piston kit i should order? stock bore? the stock pistons still look awesome, but figured i might as well just replace them, and also for a new crank, SBT?? Only reason I'm not just getting an all new motor is because the motor is very clean and such low hours. i saw wsm piston kits i think there called and just wondering if other kinds are better. Let me know your opinion on crank or piston brands if you don't mind, thanks

edit: also when i put the crank case back together, do i just put them back together or is there some sort of liquid gasket you put between them? It looks like there was no sort of gasket. and this is the first time the motor has ever been apart other than just the head

Liquid gasket: three bond 1211, Honda bond. DO NOT JUST PUT IT BACK TOGETHER.
hit up jetmaniac for a SBT crank
Wiseco , Pro X piston kits are my choice, but I've used Vertex and they worked great.

I've got a New Pro X top end kit with gaskets I'm not going to use. $145

Inspect everything while you are in there. 1211 in between the case halves and make sure you order new crank seals and install them properly. Take pics of each step as you take it apart to reference for when putting it all back together.

Post your progress on here as you go and peeps will give you great advice.

May have a porous casting, i ran into a similar problem with water in one cylinder. Do crank seals, re-bond the cases, and do all new gaskets. i would do pistons, weisco or pro-x are nice, i like kimpex/spi as well. Depending on wear will decide if you stay stock bore or over bore, have the sleeves measured. id pull the head, plug the water line to the pump and fill the cylinders water area with water and look for a leak.

It's not a real tight aluminum casting. Therefore allows water to penetrate through almost like a filter.
