we have a similar one in my dads 550. Im not sure if i would run one in my sj though, its really small...:dunno:

supertrapp's where the best waterbox for 550's.took the high pitched noise out of them and you could somewhat move the powerband up or down(very slight differences).
quieter than most boxes except oem.
just needed constant maintenance to clean the diffuser discs.

The 2 tricks I did to them for improvement was to add 2 small S.S. washers in between each diffuser plate, (cured the sand clogging) and run the competition open cone end plate. (made for a lot less back pressure)
