Super Jet Super Jet Problems

I have a 2006 superjet with a 760 engine. For some reason after installing a new starter, battery, and spark plugs I cannot get anything to work still!!! The starter works because I checked it by connecting the positive side from starter to pos on battery and it turns freely. However it is not making contact with the flywheel and not turning the motor over. Also I am not getting any signal to my msd box from my ignition button!!! I am totally stumped here, I think it is something electrical but still cant figure out why the starter isnt making contact with the flywheel or gear that turns the motor over.

The starter does not make direct contact with the flywheel. There is a bendix gear between the two. The starter spins the bendix, the roational force opens the bendix up and spins the flywheel. If you spin the starter and it does not turn the motor over, chances are the bendix is not engaging and will need rebuilt/replaced.

In terms of electrical, I am pretty sure that the CDI has nothing to do with the motor not turning over. This is what I went through when trouble shooting my electrical:

First check the fuse in the e-box. If that is fine check the s/s switch. From the start/stop there are two pairs of wires. Black/white and red/brown. Unplug the black/white, and jump the red/brown. If the motor turns over your start/stop switch is most likely bad. If nothing next try to jump the solenoid directly with a screw driver, if it turns over your solenoid is bad or the wiring to the solenoid, if nothing then bad starter, battery, or ground. In my case it turned out to be the plugs between the s/s and the ebox were corroded.
