What are your opinions on the different mat choices. Foam or sewn ?
What holds up the best?

Sewn is prettier (IMHO), HT gives better traction. Molded diamond lasts longer than cut diamond, but cut diamond is easier to form around different shapes/angles/curves (as in turfing foot holds)

Foam = Hydroturf Sewn = Jettrim. I knew what he meant.

Good tips on the HT. How well does the sewn in last?

HT last longer than the Jettrim mats. If your building a bouy buster, the JT mats are nice, but they do wear out and get slicker quick. HT Mats wear out as well, but takes a while unless your wearing cleats like some the Freestyle Competitors wear, they eat HT up.
