I thought it was the deeper intake grates that did that? :scratchchin:

I put one on my SJ when I raced Limited back in 2001. It was a great improvement, the ski hooked up much better in the corners. got a little more top speed out of them...
But when you start doing big jumps, nose stabs, they become distructive, They can and will rip out your pump shoe.

I suppose that's why some guys epoxy the stuffers in place.
