What's the best way around a stripped hull recess for the engine mounts? I've got one (effin') recess that's stripped...the other are perfect. I can still feel very slight grooves for the threads that are left in the recess. Was thinking of trying to go up a size in bolt with same thread pitch. The OEM bolt will not grab at all. I can push it to the head without any resistance. Whadya'll think?

i would try going up a size just like you said. as a matter of fact i think thats how one of mine in my SN is and its held up fine.

I know someone that put a helicoil in with red loctite and it worked....
