title pretty much says it all. went to fire her up tonight after doing some work on her. ran perfect for a few seconds, then RATTLE RATTLE RATTLE. then it went away and ran like ass. comp check, 155 front, 30 rear. pulled the head and jugs. rear cylinder, upper piston ring. looks like the locating pin slid into the piston and the ring swung its way to the exh port. only took 63.5 hours to do it according to my hour meter. caught the port, gouged the cyl and broke the piston.
now the reason for the question. I'm obviously going to go big bore, but I need to know if they're plated or not so I can determine how much $$ I need to save up. IIRC they are, just want to be sure
