SX/SXi/SXi Pro Stock ski tuning issues and really could use some help.

First the problem.

95 750 sxi dual carb factory pipe milled head old aftermarket prob ect.. Ski will start great. Ski will put around great. Ski will go wide open great. But there is a dead spot in the throttle at about 1/3 ish. you will be playing around and turn or going straight and pull the throttle and the ski will fall on its face. Some times even dies. You will just get on, go to hit the throttle just enough to have the ski die and your face eats purple chin pad.

Now what I have done.

Manifold was cracked. So I replaced it.

messed with the fuel screws for hours.

rebuilt the carbs.

Rejetted the carbs.

different pop off springs.

130 compression in each hole.

4700 ft above sea level.

I feel the rejet did the most good but still didnt fix it. It feels like it just go instant lean for a second and just dies. This is my friends ski and this problem has plagued my jetski time for to long!

Any one have some suggestions?

No clue on pop off. I guess there is only two different springs we tried them both. Bottom screws are set to stock and it makes no real difference turning them in or out. Seems to run best set to stock. Same with top screws
