SXR Stock Pump Question

I have seen several guys tapped a another fitting directly on the other side from the stock fitting. One on the ride and the other on the left.

Yep, there is a cast "boss" just like the stock one 180* from it. Just drill and tap that, then run your hose under your reduction nozzle to the tube.

I can take a picture if you want, but it's really that easy.
 
Why dual lines?

Why wouldn't you just maximize the existing line? It's cinched down on each end of the through-hull, so you can just enlarge those and put in larger fittings, right?

You are correct!!!

Open up the existing line and go up a size on the fittings it will be twice the coolant. My big bore sxr has been this way for years with 0 problems. If there is enough meat on the brass fittings you can drill them out to increase flow. I just went to the next size and opened up the pinch on both ends of the stock coolant pipe in the hull

That's what I just did?

That's why Factory Pipe includes a 1/2"ID fitting with their wet pipes.
