Super Jet stock bilge removal

i got a trim setup for my sn and the pump nozzel it came with has the stock bilge inner part ground down and welded shut. i only have one 500gph pump, will i be ok? or if i drill the hole back through will it still work without the inner "hump"?

it will work as a pump and actually fill your hull if you just open it up that way. It needs to protrude into the jetstream to cause the negative pressure required to cause suction. I drilled my sato Nozzle out enough to slip a stainless steel tube into mine. It only needs to protrude a half an inch or so.

i learned this the hard way. my pump has this as well. dont mean to threadjack but can this be a easy wasy of adding dual cooling? will there be enough water flow in from ther?
