Steering nozzle bore???

I had my reduction nozzle bored. Has anyone ever bored their steering nozzle? I used to have an ocean pro, but am going back to stock because I think it will give more bottom end because it has a larger diameter. Boring obviously could make this even larger. Or is there another steering nozzle that works better for freestyle? or does it really matter? Thanks.

Do not bore the nozzle any more than 85mm, otherwise you will have more of a chance of cavitation.

notice I was reffering to the steering (deflection) nozzle and not the reduction nozzle.

A couple of the X2 nozzles I have for my FX-1/650 pump conversions have the steering nozzle bored (supposedly by Group K?). I had never heard of that before and I've been around long enough to have seen most old school perf tricks. What surprised me was that they didn't bore the exit nozzle as well, just the steering nozzle. Not sure what it buys you???

i dont think u bore that part since its so much bigger than the nozzle to begin with?
