steering end?

Are the steering ends pretty well the same between the rn and sn superjets. I have a trim cable setup to use a 5mm threaded steering end like what comes on 96up sj's and was wondering if the squares had steering ends that were interchangeable with the rn ones. they have different part number so i was wondering.
