Installed a WSM (aftermarket) steering cable. Got almost 5 weeks of use out of it before the inner core broke near the nozzle end. It seems that the innermost wire core which is wrapped with a stainless steel spiral is made of regular steel which had rusted and broke. You can actually see how the wires got thinner from corrosion near the point of failure. Besides of costing me $100, it also caused a serious safety issue when steering was lost. This cable was manufactured with improper materials. That is not just fraudulent but also reckless endangerment!
