Super Jet Steering Cable Install question

I am trying to replace my steering cable on my sqaure. I have a -3.5 RN pole with a CF turnplate. I bought a SN steering cable from SBT and it seems to not have enough throw or adjustment at the turnplate. I know I am just missing something here. Any advice would be aprreciated. Thanks

make sure the throw is centered at the turnplate first before adjusting it at the back.

I dont have the pump in right now, and I centered the turnplate, it turns all the way to one side but only halfway on the other side

Center the throw, find midpoint on the cable in and out, make a mark with a sharpie, then center turnplate with that mark being exactly half way in and out of cable throw. Then go to the pump...
