Stators ?

Hi, how can i tell the difference between a 61x and a 62t stator. I have one here but dont know what its from. I need a 62t for a Advent

62T stators are larger diameter, try fitting into a 61x flywheel, if it will not fit in, then you know you have the 62T stator. The other way is to do a ohm resistance check, they are different ohms resistance too. (This is one of the reasons you HAVE to use a 62T staor with an Advent CDI)

Does anyone have a 62t stator lying around they could measure , saves me tearing my motor apart.

You don't have to tear your motor apart.
Take off the front cover and see what shape the holes in the flywheel are.
Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes and a 10mm wrench.

Hi Matt i understand that but dont have ski to hand at the moment, just trying to get parts together so i can order my Advent.

I've got a 61X stator on my desk...I could measure that.
(Why the hell do I have a stator on my desk at work?)

The three coils, measured from the wiring harness:
Green to Green: 1.0 - 1.1 Ohms
Brown to Black (Ground): 354.4 Ohms
White/Red to Black (Ground): 14.9 Ohms
