Start & Stop Plug testing w/ Blue Sea 8110 DVM & Back Probes

I bought this Blue Sea digital volt meter Model 8110 when I put solar panels on the van. I later bought a back probe kit to add "needle" type probes to check connectors with small plugs/receptacles (and to "back" probe the wires on all size plug connectors). And I really like that combo for working on our skis. One of the things I really like about the DVM is how loud the continuity/resistance sound is when continuity is detected. Below is a photo checking the start switch plug (white). (Note: The black plug is the stop switch connector.) (The start switch was fine. Instead, the starter relay went out yesterday and, in addition, the ski's battery needed replacing.)

I just had to make some needles last week to back probe a connector on a machine at work. I was thinking then that I ought to find an easier way. Since I always loose the one I make shortly after using them.
