Super Jet Start/Stop issue

Hey guys just finishing up my 97 Sj and have a small issue. The start/stop connectors to the ebox were so corroded I cut them and hard wired it to the ebox (I plan on useing the water tight MSD connectors after I get it all working). Well once I hard wired it the ski starts up but the stop does not shut it down. Here is the weird thing though, when the key is not in it will not start, you need to have a key in. However once its running if you pull the key it stays running. Is this just a messed up switch or is there something else going on? Thanks.

I would buy a new start stop or you can have that one built for 80 bucks I believe

Test yours first before forking out on a new one, I have the same issue, Been through 2 start stop switches, replaced s/s plugs , added extra earth and tested everything with a mlti meter and still cant resolve the issue, I just bought a stock cdi to see if tahts the issue, Chances are you may not have the same problem but dont do wat i did and buy a new s/s switch without double checking your old one with a multi meter

did u fix the problem with the killswitch? I have the same issue. But starting without the killswitch isn‘t possible?! This poop doesnt make sense

Okay, i fixed the problem..
the idle was to high and i think the wires was wet.
