stalls and hard to start

when ever i go under water with the ski its stalls and is very hard to start after. at first i thought i was suckin up some water but i have next to no water in the hull any ideas ?

You might be flooding your engine with gas. It runs out of air, so it runs way rich on gas.

Even though its not taking in water in large amount doesnt mean its not sucking in water in the carb though. Possibly your hood liner on carb side could be bad? letting in enough water to spray the flame arrestors?

What kind of hoses are coming off your hood? the long stockers or do you have the flat dry pipes

a lil OT, but if I have the shorter hard hoses should get some flexible tubing to channel it down farther?
