Okay so I switched from open flame arrestors (prok) to two stock 61x single flame arrestors on my 865. Wondering if anyone knows what gram spring I need to swap out to now. Ski is blubbering down low. Too much fuel. Need to raise the popoff to compensate for the oem flamies.

I'll probably just call xscream and ask tomorrow if I get a chance. Just figured I'd post it here I case anybody had the info.

Oh and the carbs are xscream modded 46 mikunis. Don't know what spring is in there now since I never checked. They came jetted with my motor package.

Your best bet is to get X-Scream a call... Congrats on the motor...

I figured that. Just wanted to throw it up here incase anyone else has done the same.

Motor is old news lol. Had it over a year now. Still makes me grin every time I pull that lever on the right though.

Yeppers all tuners do it differently so I would call and talk to the guys there. They use different interenal tuning parts on Xscream modded carbs that change other settings. Pressure is different.

The correct answer is "It Depends".

It depends on your motor setup.
It depends on what size Needle and Seat you are running.

There is not correct answer.

My 846 is running 30.6cc domes
twin ATP 48 carbs on a boyesen RAD mani, with total loss PFP etc

carbs have 2.0mm needles/seats
120 lows (1.25 turns out)
130 highs (0.75 turns out)
black (80g) springs
19psi pop offs

works for me :)

99 Octane BTW

I gave them a call. Got it sorted.

If I run the flame arrestors with no screens it should run fine. Going to try it like that.

If i have water ingestion issues, I will put the screens back in and go up to an 80 gram spring.
